Senior Engineer | Java or Kotlin | AWS and Databases | Hybrid | Tepatiplan

Required

• 2-5 years of experience developing RESTful cloud services with Java or other JVM languages (e.g. Kotlin)

• Familiarity with AWS offerings (e.g. EC2, DynamoDB, RDS)

• Experience with relational and NoSQL database solutions

Nice to have

• Experience with Apache Kafka or other streaming technologies

• Knowledge of microservice and event-driven architectures

• Proficiency with a variety of DevOps tools, including Terraform, Spinnaker, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins

Potential Projects

• Migrate IoT scheduling service from Cassandra to DynamoDB

• Modernize operational tooling and dependencies for microservices

• Improve end-to-end test coverage for the event pipeline
