Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of Linux systems, DevOps tools and methodologies, scripting, and cloud platforms, contributing to automation, scalability, and reliability of our systems.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll collaborate closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to streamline and optimize our CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support Linux-based systems in enterprise or service provider environments.

• Design and implement DevOps solutions using tools such as Git, Terraform, Chef, and Jenkins.

• Manage CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment workflows.

• Collaborate on infrastructure as code practices using tools like Terraform and scripting in Python and Bash.

• Work with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration systems like Kubernetes.

• Participate in Agile teams, contributing to planning, estimation, and continuous improvement.

• Document infrastructure processes, configurations, and changes clearly and effectively.

• Troubleshoot complex systems and drive improvements to ensure performance and reliability.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Strong Linux administration experience in enterprise or service provider environments.

• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices (Git, CI/CD, Terraform, Chef, Jenkins, etc.).

• Solid cloud knowledge, particularly with AWS, Azure, or GCP, and understanding of Kubernetes.

• Scripting skills: Proficiency in Bash, Python, and Terraform.

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills (Optional)

• Experience building containers with Dockerfiles and tools like Bazel.

• Working knowledge of Helm for deploying applications to Kubernetes.

• Experience with cloud application administration, especially in Azure environments.

• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Splunk, Grafana, Elasticsearch (ES), and Kibana.
