THE WORK

• Develop automated reports and dashboards to support product and business operations, ensuring data accessibility and efficiency.
• Analyze complex datasets using SQL and Tableau to uncover trends, drive actionable insights, and influence product roadmaps and executive decisions.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to deliver data-driven solutions that align with business goals.
• Apply advanced analytics and statistical methods to identify key business trends and optimize decision-making.
• Design and implement scalable data models that integrate multiple sources, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and accessibility.
• Communicate insights and analysis results to stakeholders across SimplePractice, highlighting opportunities to better serve both the business and its customers.
• Mentor team members and act as a subject matter expert in data analytics, driving best practices in analytics and reporting.

NEEDED EXPERTISE

• 4+ years of experience in data analysis and analytics, with a proven track record of mentoring team members.
• Advanced knowledge of data analysis tools and programming languages, including SQL and Python.
• Experience building dashboards and visualizations in Tableau or similar BI tools.
• Strong ability to interpret complex data using advanced analytics, such as predictive modeling, to forecast trends and optimize business outcomes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to multiple stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Enthusiastic about data and analytics, eager to learn new techniques, and enjoy working with data scientists and engineers.
• If you have experience with dbt Cloud, ETL pipelines, data warehouse best practices, or techniques like regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and multivariate analysis, that’s definitely a nice-to-have.
