About our client

We are working with a premier service provider of an exclusive fund management company focused on energy infrastructure assets throughout North America, Europe, and Asia. Our client is looking for a Senior Associate, who can play an active role in all aspects of the investment transactions, from origination through to execution and asset management. This position is based in Mexico City.

What the job involves

1. Play an active role in deal sourcing/origination of potential investments in the renewable energy and infrastructure sector in Latin America.
2. Oversee analyses, due diligence, and financial modelling of potential investment opportunities.
3. Support in the structuring and financing of the transactions.
4. Work closely with senior team members on all issues related to deal closing.
5. Play an active role in portfolio/asset management, monitoring financial, commercial, operating factors.
6. Elaborate presentations for Investment Committees.
7. Prepare regular investment and valuation reports for senior management and investors.

Who we are looking for

1. 5 to 7 solid years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or strategic management consulting; knowledge of the electricity and renewables sectors is a plus.
2. Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, engineering, actuary sciences or similar field.
3. Proactive leader, with strong financial and modelling skills.
4. Superior analytical skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
6. Analytical thinker and detail oriented.
7. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is a must.
