This position reports toLocal/Hub Business Unit Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to lead marketing and sales activities related to products, systems, and services within the defined industry segments, for the assigned area. Each day, you will ensure that the division and related sales units substantially improve their sales, margins, market share, and customer satisfaction in the selected market segments. You will also showcase your expertise by developing and implementing a market-based strategy including direct, third party, and project sales and enhancing cross-division and cross-region business-led collaborations for the specific market segment.
The work model for the role is: Hybrid.
Global relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position.
This role contributes to the Motion Business Area in Mobile e-Power (EV Products) and Traction solutions, including Traction Inverters and Motors, Auxiliary Converters, Energy Storage Systems, etc., in Mexico.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Leading the segment team members and reinforcing global sales efficiency and performance.
- Building relationships with key external influencers/key customers and leveraging ABB’s strengths to capture new business opportunities.
- Driving and ensuring knowledge sharing and cross-division and cross-country collaborations.
- Activating operation intelligence, benchmarking, and analysis to identify industry segment trends, practices, product gaps, competitor strategy, etc.

Qualifications for the role- You have a Bachelor´s degree in Electrical, Electronics or Automation Engineering or related.
- You have 5+ years of proven knowledge/experience of Transportation Systems Manufacturing (trains, heavy trucks, buses) and Energy Storage Systems used in these segments (Battery banks).
- You possess knowledge in channel development and collaboration with sales.
- A good understanding of internal and external market trends and solutions linked to ABB Traction is desirable.
- If you are related to transportation end users and operators, it is a plus.
- You have demonstrated experience in the management of customer accounts and sales strategy.
- You are proficient in English and Spanish at an advanced level.
- You have a collaborative, solution-focused approach.
