Accounting: General Ledger (GL) and Accounts Payable (AP) subledgers and reporting.

Treasury Management: Bank account management, payment medium creation, electronic bank statement processing.

Asset Management: Fixed assets accounting, depreciation calculation, asset retirement, etc.

Role

Use of consulting skills, business process knowledge, SAP FICO application expertise, and understanding clients' business environment mapped to SAP ERP to achieve client expected business results.

Qualifications and Experience

1. Graduate Engineer from a reputed college.
2. At least 8 years of functional experience in the Finance domain.
3. Hands-on SAP FICO configuration experience with a focus on FICO Controlling, Cost Centre Accounting, Profit Centre Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Project System, Results Analysis, Unsettled Costs, Month End Close, Overhead assessment, and settlement.
4. Experience of one full lifecycle SAP implementation experience would be desirable.
5. At least 6 years of experience in supporting SAP ERP at large client engagement.
6. Experience and knowledge of key integration points between SAP modules.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Provide assistance to Customer in the ongoing application support of their SAP solution.
2. Support globally without any region barrier on defect resolution and incident release management in a multi-vendor and multi-geography environment for ECC and its satellite systems.
3. Coordinate with offshore and users for resolving tickets and system issues.
4. Work on implementation projects based on new opportunities.
5. Understand the different severities and priorities based on the level of issue.
6. Understand the different SLAs and coordinate with the support team for expediting the resolution of tickets.
7. Ability to coordinate with business users and support team.

Consultant will actively get involved and provide the following services in the scope of the engagement:

1. Incident Management: Acceptance of ticket from users, analysis, and resolution of incidents according to defined solution scope and agreed SLAs.
2. Service Request Fulfilment: Acceptance of ticket from users, implementation of service request for continuous operations according to defined solution scope.
3. Problem Management: Perform causal analysis periodically and fix recurring issues, root cause analysis, and resolution of problems according to defined solution scope and agreed SLAs.
4. Change Management: Analysis of incidents/requests involved for change, carry out scope definition, commercial validation, creation of change requests, and seek approval from application owner.
5. Proactive Management: Carry out interfaces, batch jobs monitoring activities, monitoring alerts, categorization of alerts according to criticality, creation of incident tickets for identified issues and/or critical alerts, taking corrective actions by processing the incident tickets.
6. Continuous Improvement: Provide services to help the customer address efficiency challenges, prepare customers' existing landscape for further improvements, redirect capacity from operations to create opportunities for innovation by benchmarking assessment and operations, help design operations efficiency roadmap, implement and realize improvements, identify use cases which can be automated to benefit the client and optimize operational cost.
