Sales Support Officer

Overview

• Facilitate and improve the sales process
• Expedite quote elaborations
• Assist in providing close

Responsibilities

• Use of CRM for rates creation and follow up along with CG members.
• Generate interest, qualify prospects, maintain customer relationships and source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls/emails.
• Maintain performance targets (KPI’s) to ensure high quality customer service and targeted business generation by customer, segment, trade, etc.
• Monitor market trends, competition and evaluate opportunities for new products and activities.
• Communicate with Trade and share data that supports the profitability of the service.

Qualifications

Education: College Degree in Business, Logistics or International Commerce

Knowledge: Logistics, Shipping, Freight Forwarding, Automotive industry

Experience: 3-5 years in a similar position

Required language: English/Spanish

Availability to travel: Yes, domestic trips. Less than 10% of time.
