Summary
The Sales Analyst will work closely with the GM - LATAM and entire sales team to facilitate the overall efficiency and productivity of sales department, through managing sales department processes, and sales reporting. They will interact cross-functionally throughout the organization to manage and resolve sales/customer related issues.
Responsible for sales report development, update, analysis, distribution, and explanation of various sales reports such as POS, Competitive Shops, Import Reports, Holiday Ad recaps and other Ad Hoc sales reports. A key responsibility will include the co-management of the Huffy Foundation Program. The Sales Analyst will also assist in the coordination and preparation for customer meetings and National Sales meetings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Sales Projections - Develop monthly shipping targets, and provide input/recommendations in development of the 90-day financial projections, as well as provided demand change analysis and explanation. Key Presenter in the S&OP meetings.
- Inventory Management - Develop weekly finished goods excess and close out lists to assist in the control of obsolete inventory. Responsible for creating, maintaining and distributing the close out/excess inventory list providing up-to-date information to internal and external sales teams.
- Inventory Management - Collaborate with the Controller and the VP of Domestic Sales to review and establish reserve needs for any slow-moving product to help ensure sales movement of such product.
- General Reporting – Develops and issues standardized and ad hoc reports for use throughout the organization which provide actionable information for Huffy Management, our customers, licensors, licensee’s distributors, and sales representatives.
- Reports include:
- Negative Availability - Evaluation and resolution
- Weekly - Total sales analysis, by customer, by model
- Staff Meeting - Demand Overview, Demand Change, Open Forecast, Scorecard, Pricing Errors
- As Needed - Active/Inactive models, Aging Inventory review and analysis
- New Model Implementation - Sales Department Representative for the NMI meeting. Speak on behalf of sales managers, not present, to insure timely flow of new models.
- Pricing Integrity – Works closely with the sales organization to assure pricing accuracy and integrity on Non-Standard price sheets and in Huffy ERP system. Manage and enhance pricing approval process.
- Exclusives Tracking Process – Responsible for the management and enhancement of the current Exclusive Tracking Process. Coordinate continuous updates and reports on Exclusives made and confirmed by our customers.
- Backup/training/support of Demand Management processes and forecast tools

Education And/or Experience
Bachelor’s Degree required. Prior analyst experience and report development and presentation required. This position may require approximately 5% of domestic travel.
