Safety and Environment Engineer (Ergonomic Specialty)

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for regulatory compliance in ergonomics concerns.
2. Preparation and updating of the ergonomics diagnosis of the plants in Mexico.
3. Perform ergonomic evaluations of all areas using different methods.
4. Elaboration and compliance of containment, corrective, and preventive ergonomics actions.
5. Elaboration/updating of procedures and/or documentation related to ergonomics.
6. Conduct tours of all areas to detect possible ergonomic improvements.
7. Responsible in conjunction with occupational medicine for the follow-up of employees to avoid health problems related to ergonomics.
8. Prepare periodic reports related to the progress with the compliance of ergonomics programs.
9. Review and close work orders related to ergonomic evaluation.
10. Responsible for monitoring compliance with health breaks and occupational gymnastics.
11. Update in conjunction with IMSS occupational gymnastics.
12. Support in additional activities of the department.
13. Being part of the brigade groups and the Health and Safety Commission.
14. Execution and evaluation of the personnel rotation program in conjunction with occupational medicine.
15. Support in the investigation of ST-9.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Minimum experience of 2 years in the industrial sector.
2. Knowledge in ergonomic evaluations with different methods.
3. Knowledge in legal requirements of Ergonomics in Mexico.
4. Knowledge in ergonomic risk control.
5. Experience in attending inspections of health and safety authorities.
6. Proactivity.
7. Teamwork.
