RMAE Engineer

An important company dedicated to designing and manufacturing semiconductors and wireless telecommunications products is looking for a Staff Engineer to work in debugging semiconductor components inside mobile phones, tablets, laptops, and other components.

Activities:

1. Be part of an RMA engineering team that is responsible for Customer Quality Issues for Application/Communication Processors, Modem, Digital, PMIC, RFFE, & RF control on the world's most advanced 5G sub6/mmW modems across Commercial, Industrial, and Auto grades.
2. Lead the debug effort and drive the root cause of customer failures from the market and product line.
3. Partner with Qualcomm corporate in San Diego to bring up the RMA lab in TJ.
4. Perform bring-up and verification of test systems.
5. Bring up and maintain the RMA lab in TJ per Qualcomm’s policy and standards.
6. Collaborate with the team to design, evaluate, integrate, and add test coverage, set up and execute tests, and provide insights and analysis via written technical reports.

Qualifications:

1. Knowledge/experience in semiconductor ATE & Systems.
2. Experience using any Test Equipment such as Curve Tracer, Anritsu/Rohde & Schwarz, Keysight, Oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, power supplies, power meters, VNA, tuner, power and spectrum signal analysis using IQ.
3. Good programming knowledge in Python.
4. Knowledge in semiconductor physics along with fab and assembly process knowledge.
5. Visa to travel to the USA.
6. Fluent in English.
