Job Title: Remote Senior React/Shopify Developer (100% Work From Home)

Location: Remote from Latin America

Position Type: Full-time

Salary: $3,000 - 5,000 USD/month

Schedule: Monday to Friday, candidates must align working hours closely with UK business hours

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior React Developer specializing in Shopify headless development to join our client's innovative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining headless e-commerce websites using Shopify’s Hydrogen framework.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and Maintain Headless E-commerce Websites:
  • Build and optimize headless storefronts using Shopify’s Hydrogen framework.
  • Implement responsive and high-performance web applications that provide an exceptional user experience.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:
  • Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate design concepts into functional web applications.
  • Collaborate with CRO specialists and marketing teams to implement features that enhance conversion rates and customer engagement.
• Integrate APIs and Services:
  • Utilize Shopify APIs, GraphQL, and other third-party services to extend functionality.
  • Ensure seamless integration between the front-end and back-end systems.
• Code Quality and Best Practices:
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
  • Implement testing methodologies, including unit testing and end-to-end testing.
• Performance Optimization:
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Monitor performance metrics and address bottlenecks proactively.
• Stay Updated with Industry Trends:
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in Shopify, Hydrogen, and headless commerce technologies.
  • Recommend and implement new technologies and frameworks to improve development efficiency and product quality.
• Technical Leadership:
  • Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Lead code reviews and contribute to the improvement of internal processes.
• Problem-Solving and Debugging:
  • Identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Provide timely support for production incidents and implement fixes.

Qualifications, Skills and Key Competencies:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional web development experience.
  • Extensive experience with React.js and Node.js.
  • (Preferable) Proven experience with Shopify’s Hydrogen framework and headless commerce.
  • Strong understanding of the Shopify platform, APIs, and ecosystem.
  • Experience with GraphQL and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience leading a development team.
  • (Preferable) Agency experience.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end technologies.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Familiarity with server-side rendering and static site generation.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
  • Understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
• Certifications: Shopify Developer certifications are a plus.
• Language Skills: Proficient in English.
