Remote Senior Data Engineer

We are currently searching for a Senior Data Engineer:

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and operationalize data warehouses, data lakes, and analytics platforms.
2. Implement cloud-based data solutions using GCP suite and other Big Data tools.
3. Develop software and handle large-scale data architecture using Java, Python, and SQL.
4. Collaborate with DevOps to automate deployment and testing through CI/CD pipelines.
5. Communicate effectively across teams, presenting ideas and solutions clearly.

Requirements:

1. 7+ years in software design and development.
2. 5+ years in data engineering.
3. 3+ years in GCP data tools like BigQuery, PubSub, DataFlow/Apache Beam.
4. Strong experience with Java, Python, and SQL.
5. Hands-on experience with cloud-based Big Data solutions (GCP, AWS, etc.).

Desired:

1. Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
2. Agile development experience.
3. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
4. GCP experience is a big plus.

Languages:

1. Advanced Oral English.
2. Native Spanish.
