Job Overview:
Our client's reputation management company helps professionals maintain a positive online presence by cleaning up search results on Google, Yahoo, and Bing. They are seeking an experienced Reputation Management/SEO Specialist to join their team, specializing in search suppression and online reputation management. The successful candidate will develop and implement strategies to create and promote positive content, suppressing negative information in search engine results pages (SERPs) for their clients.
Responsibilities:
- Search Suppression Strategy:
- Analyze search engine results pages (SERPs) to identify negative content.
- Develop and implement strategies to create and promote positive content.
- Conduct keyword research to identify relevant search terms.
- Content Creation and Optimization:
- Create high-quality, engaging content (articles, blog posts, social media, press releases) on platforms that rank well.
- Optimize content with targeted keywords and meta tags.
- Utilize content marketing strategies to improve online visibility.
- Platform Development and Management:
- Create and manage profiles on relevant platforms (e.g., Wikipedia, LinkedIn, Medium).
- Develop and implement strategies to increase platform authority and ranking.
- Link Building and Outreach:
- Develop and implement link building strategies to increase authority and ranking.
- Conduct outreach to relevant websites and influencers.
- SEO and Analytics:
- Monitor and analyze search engine rankings and keyword performance.
- Utilize tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Moz.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Client Communication and Reporting:
- Provide regular reporting and recommendations to clients.
- Conduct monthly/quarterly client meetings to discuss strategy and results.
Qualifications, Skills and Key Competencies:
- 2+ years of experience in SEO, reputation management, or digital marketing.
- Previous experience in public relations.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and online reputation management principles.
- Excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills.
- Experience with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and social media platforms.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
