About the role
Ensure the sustainable growth of Nubank by supporting the regulatory analytical demands of non-financial regulatory reports for Banxico and CNBV, challenging the status quo through:
Work with the Regulatory Reporting Officer on activities related to the integration of non-financial regulatory reports, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with established regulations. Also, assist in presenting required information for audits and supervisory activities by the authorities, maintaining the highest level of quality in accordance with Nubank's principles.
What does a Regulatory Solutions analyst for Regulatory reports & demands do…
- Analysis and data validation to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards for regulatory reports and information.
- Provide support to prepare and submit accurate regulatory reports to relevant authorities, such as Banxico, CNBV, and CONDUSEF within specified deadlines.
- Knowledge of which tables to find data related to the operation, including daily usage and construction of dashboards using tools like Databricks, Quick Sight, Queries, Big Query, etc.
- Desirable to understand queries in SQL/Scala to review and identify the need for adjustments or changes.
- Understand their BU strategy and use it to prioritize their team's tasks and projects.
- Ability to abstract business concepts into quantitative metrics (e.g., KPIs, OKRs, etc.).
- Aptly manage low and medium complexity projects, guaranteeing the agreed delivery timeline and communicating with all stakeholders.
- Prioritize effectively and achieve defined targets, adjusting priorities in response to changing circumstances.
- Create documentation needed for projects.
- Analyze data with the proper methodologies and design improvement projects based on them.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Finance, Mathematics, or Statistics with strong quantitative analytical experience.
- Oriented, diligent, organized, and enjoys operational activities.
- Quick learner and proactive.
- Ability to challenge and prioritize.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of financial products and services.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish; willingness to continue learning and show a passion for regulations.
- Experience in regulatory reporting or compliance roles, or a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks within the financial services industry, is highly desirable.

*Interviewing and onboarding are currently done virtually. When it’s time, we will require a fixed cadence of visiting the office in which employees go to their Business Unit's (BU) base location.
