XCCELERA is looking for an experienced and proactive Sales Engineer in the Northern Mexico region for its client, a globally recognized manufacturer of electrical and electronic measuring instruments from Japan. Their electrical measuring instruments are used in a broad range of industries and fields, from the maintenance and inspection of electrical work and equipment to the testing of electronic components used in smartphones and computers and the development of electric vehicles, batteries and solar power generation technologies.
Purpose: to support sustained growth for the company in Mexico by providing new and existing customers with detailed information and support with various products, programs or services offered to drive brand recognition, capture, retain and increase sales.
Ideal candidates will be located in Ciudad Juarez and have a strong background in direct B2B sales within the electronics or automation sectors. Besides, they possess a deep understanding of customer needs to drive retention and new account growth.
Job Responsibilities Include:
· Achieve assigned sales targets
· Manage and develop distribution channels in assigned territory
· Penetrate targeted market businesses, uncover and analyze customer needs, develop value propositions and transform them to solutions, negotiate terms, and close business
· Acquire new customers, prospect new opportunities and foster good customer relationships for further revenue growth and customer retention
· Utilize a consultative sales approach throughout the sales cycle to understand customer’s or prospect’s business pains and their perception of potential solutions
· Deliver and coordinate presentations and hands-on demonstrations of products, applications and technologies for the purpose of product and service sales
· Act as the liaison between the company and key customers by providing vital information as to new products, services, pricing and or customer orders
· Create new company opportunities through new targeted accounts or significant new business from existing customers
· Attend trade shows; help with booth setup and tear down, network and prospect for new opportunities, qualify and capture leads, demonstrate products, gather feedback and market intelligence
· Pre-plan travel and visits to focus on key accounts and solutions
· Provide and confirm visit plans/meeting agendas to clients for each scheduled visit
· Manage sales pipeline and forecast sales activity in CRM System
· Provide sale reports and forecasts on a regularly scheduled basis
· Collaborate with the company’s teams to organize meetings and workshops/trainings with customers
· Participate in sales team meetings
· 40% - 60% travel required within assigned territory. Occasional International travel.
