Referral Specialist

Take advantage of a competitive salary and be a Referral Specialist - Remote in New Mexico.

This exciting opportunity will require a Referral Specialist who can provide a high level of service and attention to their patients.

Daily Responsibilities of a Referral Specialist:

1. Team member work a fax queue building auths and answering phone calls in-between.

Schedule:

M-F 8am-5pm MST with some weekend responsibilities.

Pay:

$18-25/hr (weekly pay).

Length of Assignment:

Contract - 6 months.

Requirements of a Referral Specialist:

1. HS Diploma or GED.
2. 1+ year of customer service experience in a medical setting verifying benefits or completing prior authorizations.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be a team player.
4. Familiar working with metrics/goals.
5. Strong phone, computer and typing skills.
