As a Recruitment Business Partner, you will partner with dedicated Sourcers to cultivate sourcing channels, develop relationships with hiring managers, close searches against tight deadlines and advise the business leaders in Talent Acquisition matters. In this role, you will be responsible for talent attraction strategies and utilize your experience setting benchmarks and metrics.


We need a talented Recruiter Business Partner to help us find the best talent in the world to support our growth. The Recruitment Business Partner will work with a team of peers, including Sourcers, focusing in the areas of candidate talent search and placement, process improvement, strategy development and will act as the primary point of contact for supported groups. They will foster a collaborative team environment and a strong service-oriented culture that ensures delivery of efficient, effective, quality-driven service to internal customers and meets customer service level agreements.


The ideal candidate must be able to successfully manage, prioritize and close searches against a timeline and have experience setting benchmarks, metrics, and understand how to prioritize to hit all customer SLAs. They thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment, can roll up their sleeves, work hard, have fun, and get the job done. The best candidates will draw on extensive knowledge of Talent Acquisition and functional areas of the business, forging dynamic relationships with business leaders, hiring managers and HR business partners. They have a reputation for being exceptional at candidate generation, client/account management, organization, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, have an ability to prioritize their time, demonstrate push back and a sense of urgency, and understand the value of providing amazing customer service.


This role will be based in Mexico, at MEX16 offices.


Key job responsibilities

  1. Effectively partner with the business leaders to advise in Talent Acquisition matters, set strategy to deliver the required headcount, and provide recommendations to hire the best Talent.
  2. Partner with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations through a deep understanding of return on investment.
  3. Must be able to understand how to recruit passive candidates and possess the mentality to "profile people and gauge chemistry of candidates for fit and understand their motivation" rather than sell a role.
  4. Effectively conduct, negotiate and close complex offers in competitive markets.
  5. Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing any new processes and fine-tuning standard processes for recruiting that fits within Amazon's mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer.
  6. Articulate in writing a plan with deliverables, timelines and a formal tracking process.
  7. Interview candidates within the framework of the position specification. Possess strong ability to screen, interview and prepare a candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline.
  8. Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives, including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent and identification of top performers for senior-level openings.
  9. Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver a pipeline of both internal and external candidates.
  10. Drive positive candidate experience by influencing client teams to follow best practices, such as effective and compliant job descriptions, messaging, and clear value propositions, and provide excellent candidate experience.

About the team

  1. Bachelor’s Degree required or 2+ years of full-time Amazon experience
  2. 3+ years of recruiting experience (agency or corporate)
  3. 3+ years of managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships experience
  4. Experience with candidate engagement and offer negotiations
  5. Contact Management System/Applicant Tracking System experience for tracking and managing candidates
  6. Ability to implement recruiting strategy, including employer promotion in the marketplace, candidate management and interview process management
  7. Passion for and proven success creating and implementing successful diversity strategies
  8. Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision
  9. Experience recruiting in a highly competitive environment
  10. Strong commitment to continuous improvement
  11. Ability to own one or more recruiting projects, partnering with client teams including, but not limited to improving process improvement, candidate experience, etc.
