What you will do

1. Backend testing with JUnit (Java) or PyTest (Python);
2. Develop and maintain backend systems using Java;
3. Design and manage database schemas and queries for SQL;
4. Build and integrate APIs, ensuring scalability and performance;
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Git/GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket;
6. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines;
7. Contribute to the deployment of applications on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

Must haves

1. +5 years of hands-on backend development experience;
2. Proficiency with Java and Python;
3. Proficiency in SQL for querying databases;
4. Experience with API integration;
5. Proficient in using version control systems to track changes, manage branches, and collaborate with team members (Git & GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket);
6. Hands-on experience with Presto/Trino queries;
7. Knowledge of cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deploying applications and managing infrastructure;
8. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI to automate the software delivery process;
9. Upper-intermediate English level.

Nice to haves

1. Understanding of web servers (e.g., Nginx, Apache) and hosting platforms (e.g., Heroku, Netlify) for deploying applications;
2. Experience writing unit tests for back-end using tools like JUnit (Java) or PyTest (Python);
3. Experience with testing interactions between different components of the system. End-to-End (E2E).
