Project Manager (Americas)

Description

As a Project Manager, your role will focus on delivering success to our key enterprise customers, working at a global level. In this position, you will become the implementation trusted guide for our customer. You will also be accountable for the project delivery as well as being expected to make important decisions throughout the project lifecycle to provide a “best of breed” implementation focused on customer success. You will manage customer expectations and perform stakeholder management when dealing with areas such as deliverables, status reporting, and escalation management.

With a focus on our customers in Latin, North and South America, this role is open for remote working. Due to the language needs of our customers in this geography, the ability to fluently speak both Spanish and English is a key requirement of the role.

By means of a broad overview the role will include:

1. Manage cross-functional teams to successfully deliver projects on time, within budget, and to exceed the client's expectations.
2. Deliver differing project types (length, size, location), often managing more than one at a time, whether it be a lightweight or large and complex implementation.
3. Provide regular, precise and effective status updates on key programs, processes and metrics, producing reports as required to show progress against baseline, highlight risks, and articulate any mitigations.
4. Be the accountable or responsible stakeholder for activities such as Project planning and design, Delivery execution and client meetings.
5. Act as a technical liaison between internal teams (Product, Engineering, Sales) and clients.
6. Communicate updates regularly and concisely, identify risks and bottlenecks, influence relevant stakeholders to solve or overcome obstacles.
7. Work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired.
8. Proactively identify and implement improvements to processes and how we work within the global Project Management Office.

Requirements

1. A natural and confident communicator who really enjoys the ‘people’ side of their role in building strong, trusted and lasting relationships.
2. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written; know how to make complex things feel simple.
3. 5+ years experience delivering end-to-end B2B software solutions externally, including deployment/implementation of cloud solutions for large enterprise clients.
4. Experience in both waterfall and agile project delivery methodologies with a recognised Project Management qualification - APM / PMI, PRINCE2, Agile PM etc.
5. Ability to improvise, think creatively and find simple solutions to solve complex problems.
6. Good knowledge of principles and techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling projects.
7. A Team player – someone who enjoys being part of a friendly and social team and is supportive of their peers.
8. Degree in engineering, computer science, or relevant experience.
