Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Production Planning Supervisor located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Production Planning Manager, this role involves the responsibility to being in charge of helping materials and production functions.

What a typical day looks like:

1. Advises non-exempt associates regarding day-to-day priority of customer requests.
2. Serves as advanced interface with customer for escalations of order dedications, order expedites, and problem resolution.
3. Monitors and proactively addresses issues that impact performance to dedicated ship date (CSD), turnaround time, reply time, and inventory goals.
4. Coordinates and manages high-visibility and/or important customer programs. May include initial customer or product startup initiatives or large customer programs.
5. Coordinates with Master Scheduler to manage product life cycle and related materials availability issues.
6. Drives process improvements inside and outside the area of Order Management.
7. Plans, schedules, coordinates and approves product release to the production planning systems based on material and capacity availability.
8. Provides input to management, reschedules, and/or interfaces with customer program management, master scheduling, customers and production control to reschedule production in the event of design changes, labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruption.
9. May also hold up inventory control, supply chain management, material planning, and scheduling.
10. Manages the activities of his subordinates.
11. Guides and coordinates the supply of raw materials to the corresponding destinations.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

1. Experience in similar position in metals/manufacturing environment.
2. Experience within assemblies components.
3. Preferable knowledge in metals.
4. Experience in product lifecycle systems (Agile).
5. Experience in the use of Floor shop systems.
6. Knowledge in reading Bill of Materials (BOMs).
7. Knowledge in assembly processes (End to End).
