Production Planner

Plan, coordinate, and track production work orders to ensure on-time delivery, resource optimization, and production efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze demand and schedule production based on available capacity.
• Generate and release work orders in the ERP/MRP system.
• Coordinate with fabrication, assembly, paint, and integration departments to prioritize production.
• Track work order progress and manage deviations.
• Expedite critical work orders to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure material availability.
• Analyze production times and installed capacity to improve efficiency.
• Generate performance reports such as OTD (On-Time Delivery), production plan compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Identify bottlenecks and propose planning improvements.
• Maintain constant communication with production, engineering, quality, and purchasing departments.
• Participate in planning meetings to assess workload and resolve operational issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in production planning within manufacturing (preferably sheet metal).
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (QAD).
• Bachelor's degree in Production, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, time studies, and work measurements.
• Capacity planning and workload analysis.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
