Role:
Oversees the development of parts and manages quality feedback loops for activities related to New Product Introduction (NPI), Continuous Product Improvement (CPI), and New Source Introduction (NSI). This involves collaboration with suppliers, design control engineers, value chain engineering, and procurement category teams.
What the candidate will do:
- Manage Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and cost management activities from concept to PPAP, ensuring parts are delivered with the right quality, at the total cost, and within timelines. This is achieved through collaboration with various functional areas such as packaging, transportation, business resources, and supply chain.
- Implement product supply strategies that align with category management supply strategies to create a competitive advantage for our customers by developing, optimizing, and integrating a world-class supply network.
- Manage quality feedback loops to ensure lessons learned from quality defects are applied across the supply base.
- Drive Value Analysis and Value Engineering (VAVE) through cost modeling, design for manufacturability, and leveraging suppliers' capabilities.
Degree Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related field is required.
- Advanced conversational English.

- Establish best practices for quantifying costs and benefits.
- Recommend processes for selecting measurements and approaches for cost-benefit analyses.
- Collaborate with senior management to align strategies with organizational goals and industry benchmarks.
Strategic Sourcing:
- Work with fundamental components of strategic sourcing, including data analysis, market research, and examining purchasing budgets.
- Participate in continuous improvement of institutional sourcing processes by identifying opportunities for enhancement.
- Conduct strategic sourcing activities within a limited scope.
- Adhere to relevant standards, policies, and practices in strategic sourcing.
- Assist senior sourcing professionals with strategic sourcing across various environments.
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
- Master’s degree in engineering.
- Knowledge of purchasing processes.
- Knowledge of casting and machining processes.
- Project management skills.
- Black Belt certification.

Location: Facility Cienega de flores.
This position will require travel 50%.
