Scope
Facilitate and train both tools and methodologies for continuous improvement in daily manufacturing activities, cost savings projects, or expansion of manufacturing capacity. This position reports directly to the Quality/Continuous Improvement Manager.
Main Activities
Implementation, development, and dissemination of continuous improvement initiatives.
Create work instructions for each machine and the processes involved.
Perform 5W root cause analysis for each problem on the Albéa Querétaro production lines.
Ensure the closure of each activity derived from 5W.
Comply with the Albéa Qro. 5S program, create, implement, and audit routines.
Perform time and motion analysis to detect NVA/VA activities.
Define and draw layout of each process, PT, PP, scrap, raw materials, work tables, and tool carts.
Resolution of irritants detected in departments through PDCA continuous improvement methodologies.
Accountability including KPIs.
Implementation of gauges and poka-yokes for machine adjustments.
Continuous improvement for production lines.
Prioritize and manage work under pressure in conflict situations, delivering results on time.
Work under your own initiative.
Sense of urgency and belonging.
Profile (Experience & Qualifications)
Lean Manufacturing Specialist, Yellow Belt or Green Belt desirable.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other technical disciplines.
8 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry.
Results oriented.
Experience in the use of statistical tools and methodologies, equipment, quality methods, and basic financial principles.
Experience with lean manufacturing and DMAIC techniques in problem solving.
Intermediate or advanced English.
