Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant Senior Analyst Digital Quality Assurance
As part of the Digital Marketing Technology team, the Digital Quality Assurance (QA) Senior Analyst will be pivotal in ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital applications. This role will involve planning, executing, and documenting tests for a range of digital products, from simple to complex implementations. The Digital QA Senior Analyst will initiate tests, analyze results, troubleshoot systems, and work collaboratively with development and business teams to resolve technical challenges and enhance the user experience.

Responsibilities

1. Define and execute test cases for web applications based on software requirements and technical specifications
2. Record and analyze test results, comparing them against expected outcomes to ensure high quality
3. Provide insights from a user’s perspective to improve the client-side experience
4. Enhance and mature regression testing processes, ensuring comprehensive coverage and efficiency
5. Design and document detailed test plans for various projects
6. Participate actively in an Agile development environment, contributing to daily standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
7. Lead QA efforts for web application releases, ensuring smooth transitions to production
8. Be available to address critical production issues, including after-hours support when necessary
9. Engage in on-mountain testing at our ski resorts as required

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills

1. Good years of software quality assurance work experience required
2. Proven experience in developing, executing, and documenting test cases, test plans, and test scripts
3. Hands-on experience with functional, regression, and exploratory testing
4. Experience in eCommerce testing
5. Experience in testing websites across multiple platforms (desktop, tablet, mobile)
6. Experience with testing tools like LambdaTest or BrowserStack
7. Experience with API endpoint testing using tools like Postman
8. A self-starter with a passion for continuous learning and improvement
9. Highly detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
10. Exceptional written and oral communication abilities
11. A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
2. Familiarity with Jira for managing and tracking defects
3. Experience testing mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms
4. Good understanding of automated testing frameworks (with the desire to develop further skills). Work experience in this area is a plus.
5. Ability to ski or snowboard in winter, or engage in mountain biking or hiking at our Colorado resorts during summer, is a plus
