About the role of the Pool & Beach Manager:

The candidate must effectively coordinate and manage the operation of the Beach and Pool or any other supported area. Be an example and implement and review the service sequences and all the information in the welcome manual.

What you will do:

  • Observes physical condition of facilities and equipment in the department and makes recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed.
  • In charge of resolving situations related to the pool & Beach service: complaints and inquiries, ensuring that problems are resolved satisfactorily.
  • Supervise and ensure the quality of all food & beverage items, amenities, ingredients, and preparation methods, restock and organize all products and equipment to ensure an attentive and distinctive experience in Recreation.
  • Oversee the pool and other aquatic facilities, including hiring and training staff, scheduling, and enforcing safety rules.
  • Review VIP guests, individual guests and groups and anticipate and exceed expectations.

What you bring:

  • Fluency in Spanish and English is required for this position.
  • Minimum experience of three (3) years in Food & Beverage Department Head position.
  • Two (2) + years’ experience working within a luxury hotel or similar environment is considered an asset.
  • Ability to work with all hotel systems and maintain a high attention to detail.
  • Understand and ability to deliver high quality, luxury service standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Cross-cultural sensitivity and customer service orientation.
  • Guest centricity and understanding of the importance of guest preferences.
