Plant Manager

Is responsible for leading the Plant to operate and provide products and services with the quality and time expected; in an efficient and cost-effective manner while meeting company business targets.

1. Establish and ensure the plant operates in optimal conditions and safety culture.
2. Establish and maintain company processes to ensure maximum capacity and resource utilization.
3. Develop strategies to achieve QVC targets.
4. Provide solid, consistent leadership, accountability, and mentoring to all employees.
5. Lead the plant’s efforts to develop personnel.
6. Responsible for P&L of the business unit.
7. Lead the use of tools to improve business conditions such as ICIM, Shainin, Lean, Problem Solving, etc.
8. Lead initiatives to reduce cost and increase productivity and delivery.

1. Bachelor's in Engineering or other required.
2. Master's degree is highly desired.
3. Bilingual (English/Spanish).
4. Strong use of Continuous Improvement and Problem Solving tools: ICIM/Shainin/other.
5. Finance knowledge: P&L, Forecasting, budgets.
6. Coaching and management skills.
7. Flexibility to change: move to other location/area.
8. Computer systems such as Microsoft Office, Minitab, SAP are a must.
9. Experience in manufacturing of automotive harnesses (must).
