Job Description

The Packaging and Logistics Warehouse Specialist is mainly responsible for assisting in all Warehouse operations planning at the physical logistics area in terms of process standardization and administrative activities.

Key tasks include:

1. Planning and control of returnable packaging process
2. Defining and improving warehouse standards
3. Warehouse 3PL administration
4. Supporting to maintain acceptable warehouse inventory accuracy
5. Keeping warehouse KPIs on target and reducing costs

The Packaging Logistics Warehouse Specialist also supports and leads improvement projects inside all physical logistics and within the value streams. This position interacts regularly with employees, management, senior management, customers, and suppliers. The level of quality and accuracy displayed in the performance of this job will have an impact on the daily operations of the department and, ultimately, customer satisfaction.

Also responsible for:

1. Material flow analysis, process confirmation, and system audits with the purpose to detect operational waste and eliminate them.
2. Maximizing the use of logistics tools and resources to obtain considerable improvements on savings and operational process times.
3. Directly responsible for physical logistics vendor returns management, supporting receiving documentation flow operation onsite (invoices, ASN, etc).
4. Coordinating all OPL audits related to physical logistics completion.
5. Logistics quality tools champion such as 8Ds, 5 Whys, 14 quality principles, ISO, OSHAS, OEA, etc.
6. Working as DSP for the warehouse area and all system related topics.
7. Coordinating the implementation of actions to achieve the expected Bosch Production System (BPS) levels.

Outbound Packaging:

1. Fleet Manager for returnable packaging loops with customers and suppliers
2. Control of cleaning process for inbound and outbound packaging
3. Work on quality topics related to all returnable packaging
4. Work on repacking optimization procedures when necessary
5. Support physical logistics leadership on 6S adherence in all packaging storage areas.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree - Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Engineering in general, Economics, International Trade, etc.

Experience:

>3 years of experience in logistics industry logistics process and Lean Management Knowledge.

Technical Skills:

• ERP (SAP) - Advanced (Desired)
• Microsoft Office (Excel, PPT, Power BI) - Intermediate
• Automation tools (Power BI, etc) - Basic
• Working Knowledge of warehousing, physical logistics main process such as receiving, production supply, shipping, etc. - Advanced
• Root cause analysis - Advanced (Desired)
