Ensure the repair of products to the highest quality standards and compliance with all policies and regulations. As a Production Senior Supervisor, you will monitor production activity, identify process problems, troubleshoot causes, and develop solutions. You will suggest improvements to enhance efficiencies or safety, and deliver or coordinate staff training while onboarding new staff.

Duties:

• Identify customer requirements to deliver the right products at the right time.
• Achieve & exceed product cost goals.
• Promote safety, quality & compliance among the team while maintaining Good Manufacturing practices.
• Engage all team members to practice at a high level within the department.
• Enable a culture of Operational Excellence throughout the production line/area cross-functional team.
• Ensure effective two-way communication within the production line/area cross-functional team.
• Manage, motivate, develop, and involve product builders through coaching and performance management.
• Foster teamwork within the production line/area cross-functional team.
• Embed company values through demonstration & recognition of individual & team behaviors.
• Ensure all resources are in place to achieve production commitments.
• Ensure product builder training is effective & efficient.
• Ensure appropriate flexibility & versatility in the production line/area.
• Complete leader standard work to ensure line to standard or escalate appropriately.
• Achieve continuous improvement goals (safety, quality, service, cost, space, etc.) through the utilization of Business Essentials & operational excellence techniques.
• Perform other activities or responsibilities inherent to the position.

Marginal Duties:

• Conduct audits.

Qualifications:

• Engineering Degree or equivalent experience.
• More than 3 years of experience as a Sr. Production Supervisor, with production planning and ERP experience within the aerospace or metal industries.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Effective communication skills.
• Collaboration skills to motivate and influence others; act as a change agent.
• Result-oriented, self-motivated, and analytical.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• English proficiency (80% written and spoken).
• Knowledge of personnel supervision.
• Decision-making capabilities.
• Valid US Visa.
• Willingness to travel.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position reports to the Operations Lead and has around 60-80 direct and indirect reports through cell leaders.
