Operations Manager - Aviation Industry

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Ensures customer requirements/specifications and service requirements are complied with across all departing locations, domestic and abroad. This includes production, processing, on-time performance, equipment inventory, and quality assurance controls.
2. Reporting on KPIs that assess performance and compliance.
3. Maintains customer communication with local and corporate airline representatives to ensure all requests, investigations, etc. are concluded to the satisfaction of the customer and company.
4. Monitors compliance to performance and delivery procedures.
5. Monitors operational efficiency through catering relationships units and high level understanding of base capabilities and limitations.
6. Utilizes warehousing and operations space technology to forecast, assist in ordering, manage inventory reporting and space management.
7. Completes all administrative reports in an accurate and timely manner.
8. Contributes to facility security by monitoring and executing programs including all governmentally regulated and corporate requirements.
9. Builds relationships with airline customers and catering units across the network.
10. Reacts to operational change and airline developments e.g., planning and execution of new base start-ups.

Education:

• A degree level education from an accredited university or equivalent.

Work Experience:

• 2-3 years experience in logistics, supply chain, or related field.

Language / Communication Skills:

• Complete fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
