Summary: VES is looking for a Nurse to join our team in our Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico location. This person plans and carries out policies related to all phases of medical department activity by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate employees.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

• Complying with legal health requirements.
• Carrying out health activities.
• Carrying out health promotion activities.
• Providing health training.
• Carrying out health surveillance activities.
• Emergency medical care.
• Ensuring adequate contents of first aid kits.
• Formation and training of first aid brigade.
• Ensuring good conditions of emergency response devices.
• Carry out specific medical examinations program.
• Prepare reports on health performance in the organization (indicators, disabilities and incidents).
• Execution of health programs.
• Correct disposal of waste (RPBI) of the organization.
• Compliance with the Breastfeeding program.
• Provide adequate medical care to employees.
• Follow up on incident investigation activities.
• Participate in the investigation of incidents.
• Report accidents in the STPS (SIAAT) Work Accident Notification System.
• Handling of incapacities.
• Control and preparation of medical records.
• Control and requisition of medication.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the infirmary.
• Sterilization of surgical material.

Education and/or Experience:

• Professional career in Nursing.
• +2 years of experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
