Esquema: Si vives en CDMX es un esquema híbrido en Azcapotzalco (3 días oficina y 2 días remoto). Si vives en otros lados de México, es remoto.

Propósito de la posición

Management Linde network security services with focus on Americas (US) time zone as part of global team. Responsible to deliver network security services including Palo Alto Firewalls on-premises and Azure IaaS, Akamai CDN/WAF/DDoS, Zscaler ZIA/ZPA. Responsible to deliver 24*7 network security and firewall services in Americas time zone.

Principal responsabilidades

1. Collaboration with local & regional IT teams in delivering day to day network security services as well as support transition and migration projects.
2. Review & implementation of technical change requests.
3. Operational lifecycle management of security devices and services.
4. Ensuring compliance of the current network security environment, ensuring any deviations from policy or standards are reported, addressed, and resolved in a timely fashion.
5. Support in case of security incident the incident investigation and resolution.

Key Interfaces

1. Client internal network and security teams.
2. External support partners / third party vendors (Palo, Zscaler, Akamai, Microsoft etc.).
3. Project Managers.
4. Application Owners & Infrastructure service owner (local, regional and global).

Required key skills (functional/technical)

1. Good communication skills both verbally and written in English language (C1, C2, Native).
2. A reasonable technical knowledge of network security concepts and technologies (e.g. Azure IaaS, Palo Alto FW, Akamai).
3. Able to demonstrate a logical and methodical approach to analysis, audit, troubleshooting and problem solving.
4. Knowledge of basic networking concepts, such as VLANs, Routing, Firewall, Wireless etc.
5. Able to adopt a sensitive approach towards confidential information.
6. Strong analytic skills to diagnose on security processes and procedures.
7. Understanding of different technical domains and the security issues around them.
8. Experience in a variety of network security products / technologies:
1. Palo Alto Firewall Management - PANORAMA/ NGFW (Primary focus).
2. Cloud Platform IaaS/PaaS (Azure – Primary Focus) - For Azure NSG, App GW, LB, VNET, IP subnet, Route tables, DDoS, ARS, VPN-GW, Express Route, Az Marketplace.
3. Knowledge on SD-WAN deployment on Azure IaaS.
4. Threat prevention / zero – day attack prevention technologies.
5. Network Security Configuration Management – F5, Signing SSL certificates (PKI).
6. Knowledge on DNS and management.
7. Hands on experience on Akamai WAF/ CDN configuration for various logic (Primary focus).
8. End to End Secured WEB Hosting experience, so that no vuln. present - OWASP.
9. Knowledge on programming / scripting (Terraform, Python) is an added advantage.

Mobility

Willing to travel, on rare occasions, on demands of the job, based on discussion and pre-agreement.

Flexibility

Willing to work flexible hours or on shifts - based on job or project requirement from time-to-time based on discussions and pre-agreement.

Willingness to be available for On-Call support depending on the criticality of the on-going project.

Required qualifications/experience

Qualification

1. A degree or equivalent from a reputed institute.
2. A certificate of education on one of the leading network and firewall security technologies.
3. Formal training and preferably certification in network security technology & concepts such as CCNA, ECH, CISM, CISSP, AZ-300, AZ-301, AZ-303, AZ-304 etc.

Experience

1. Overall 3-5+ years of relevant IT security experience e.g. in a role as firewall and/or cloud network security specialist/engineer.
2. Deep technical knowledge in the specific technical network security, firewall and web application firewall area (Palo Alto Firewalls physical and in Azure IaaS, Akamai) – see details above.
3. Experience in working in offshore/ global teams would be appreciated.

Educación mínima: Educación superior - Licenciatura.

7 años de experiencia.
