Network Security

As a Security Consultant, you will be a key advisor for IBM’s clients, analyzing business requirements to design and implement the best security solutions for their needs. You will apply your technical skills to find the balance between enabling and securing the client's organization with the cognitive solutions that are making IBM the fastest growing enterprise security business in the world.

Your role and responsibilities

1. Manage and optimize security infrastructure, including DMZs, firewalls, IPS and content filtering.
2. Design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures to ensure compliance.
3. Optimize DMZ and security zones to enhance network performance, stability and security.
4. Administer and manage firewalls in traditional IT, cloud, and hybrid environments, ensuring proper configuration and continuous monitoring.
5. Collaborate with cross functional teams to implement security solutions and respond to security incidents.

Required technical and professional expertise

1. Over 1 year of experience in network security.
2. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Systems or Telecommunications Engineering.
3. Proven experience in maintaining security solutions management in networks including design and configuration of automation.
4. Experience in DMZ, firewalls, IPS, content filtering, antispam, and antivirus.
5. Experience in designing and implementing secure network infrastructure.
6. Optimize DMZ and secure zones to stabilize network performance.
7. Knowledge of cloud environments and security technologies.
8. Knowledge of web application architecture and web applications.
9. Management of configuration changes for rules, routes, VPN S2S and C2S, IPS/IDS, AntiBot, etc.

Preferred technical and professional experience

1. Experience in Firewall Palo Alto, Zscaler, Forcepoint, Trellix IPS.
