The Network and Desktop Specialist will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing network infrastructure while also providing desktop support as needed. This role will have direct communication with the network team in the USA.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement and maintain switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Proactively monitor network performance and security, identify vulnerabilities, and implement solutions to enhance connectivity and protect critical data.
Collaborate with the US-based network and security teams to ensure strict adherence to corporate network policies, security standards, and best practices.
Manage network vendor relationships, including contract oversight and performance monitoring, to ensure project requirements and service level agreements are met.
Configure and manage VPNs, VLANs, and network security policies; diagnose and resolve complex network issues efficiently.
Provide comprehensive support for desktop environments, including hardware, operating systems, and software applications, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in network and desktop support.
Advanced communication in English and Spanish.
Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, and firewall.
Experience with cloud-based networking solutions (Azure, Google, AWS, etc.).
