Job Description

The National Sales Manager is responsible for designing, directing, implementing, and controlling business strategies and tactics that ensure the accomplishment of sales targets, market share, and product profitability.

The candidate must demonstrate experience leading multidisciplinary teams that include marketing, account management, access, etc. This role will maintain constant interaction with all areas of the organization, as well as with regional and corporate teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Ensures that all opportunities for growth and expansion are fully identified and explored in alignment with long-term strategies.
  2. Analyze clients, competitors, and the economic environment, in order to determine market penetration and operational margins for growth.
  3. Ensures the development and implementation of marketing strategies and plans, according to the Marketing plans, which will meet current and anticipated market needs.
  4. Oversees the development and implementation of effective promotional programs to enhance market penetration, increase sales of promoted products, and ensure the success of new products.
  5. Achieve financial goals, including top-line growth and profitability.
  6. Develops and maintains relationships with key customers and associations to support corporate initiatives intended to enhance Company image and strengthen the position as an ethical pharmaceutical company.
  7. Provides continuity and establishes a clear direction to the organization by managing it in the best interest of its mission, vision, values, and standards.
  8. Ensuring the appropriate planning and successful implementation of policies, programs, and initiatives.
  9. Developing, monitoring, and measuring the effectiveness of programs and initiatives.
  10. Leading the organizational and succession planning processes.
  11. Managing human resources according to leadership principles, applicable policies, and regulations.
  12. Using care and diligence in managing and protecting the organization’s assets.
  13. Developing and maintaining appropriate communication channels and tools with internal and external customers.
  14. Serving as an ambassador to enhance the organization’s image for community sectors.
  15. Serving as mentor and expert on marketing matters for internal and external customers.
  16. Be responsible for the relationship with main distributors and business partners, developing strategies and tactics that ensure a successful go-to-market model.
  17. Analyze and provide strategic insights regarding the commercial structure and incentive plan, providing recommendations that promote effectiveness and efficiency.
  18. Responsibility for the private channel.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree - Business Administration, Marketing or Science preferred.
  2. 5 or more years of experience within the pharmaceutical sales and marketing environment including direct selling, product management, business, and people management.
  3. English: 80%
