Job Description

Position Summary

As an MVTL Account Manager at MVT Logistics, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing accounts, fostering strong long-term relationships with key contacts, onboarding new accounts, and developing creative solutions. This role focuses on growing and optimizing existing accounts by expanding service offerings, increasing efficiency, adding value, and maximizing profitability.

Main Responsibilities

1. Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, developing long-term relationships.
2. Ensure clients receive requested services in a timely manner, guaranteeing the successful completion of daily commitments.
3. Manage multiple client accounts simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
4. Oversee projects within client relationships, aligning client goals with company objectives.
5. Stay informed about changes in customer businesses to identify new opportunities and design solutions for their supply chain challenges.
6. Manage customer expectations through the creation and use of performance metrics.
7. Collaborate with the sales team to reach prospective clients.
8. Organize and oversee the brokerage aspects of assigned shipments, managing communication with carriers.

Other Responsibilities

1. Perform additional related tasks or projects as delegated.

Qualifications

1. Languages: Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field is required.

Experience

1. Bachelor's degree plus 1 year of experience in logistics OR 3 years of relevant experience in the Logistics/Transportation industry.
