Position Summary
We are seeking a Quality Auditor to maintain and oversee quality system procedures within the work area, ensuring that products meet engineering specifications. This role involves promoting and recommending preventive and corrective actions in alignment with continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a comprehensive view of both product and process quality.
Responsibilities
Ensure the use of technical information.
Understand and apply quality system procedures.
Monitor the implementation and control plans within the area.
Authorize production set-up and conduct process audits.
Perform finished product audits. Identify the quality status of product at all process stages.
Control and monitor non-conforming products utilizing the Footprint tool for tracking.
Prepare and analyze the monthly rework report of your Value Stream, including returns analysis.
Issue quality certificates for products within your area of responsibility.
Request and participate in corrective actions initiatives as needed.
Conduct manufacturing process audits and maintain checklist.
Ensure compliance with periodic testing and control programs.
Contribute to the development of new hose manufacturing projects. Oversee wastewater treatment plant analysis, ensure proper maintenance. Serve as an instructor in the operator certification program. Support the development of PPAP's for products within the Value Stream. Participate in customer visits and audits. Take part in internal and external quality audits.
Provide troubleshooting support during customer site visits. Apply Poka Yoke techniques for issue prevention and detection.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
Level of English: Intermediate English proficiency.
Certifications as an ISO 9001 Auditor.
Knowledge in GHS standards.
Experience in treatment plant testing.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with SPC, MSA, PPAP, AMEF, APQP, and control plan.
Proficiency in Minitab.
Use of conventional measuring instruments.
A3 Handling.
Training in High Performance Teams.
