Mergers & Acquisitions Director – Vietnam

In collaboration, we are partnering with a leading financial advisory firm, seeking an experienced M&A Director to drive mergers & acquisitions, fundraising, and corporate finance initiatives. This role requires a seasoned finance professional with a strong track record in cross-border transactions, deep knowledge of the Vietnamese financial market, and an extensive network of investors and corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and execute end-to-end M&A transactions, including origination, structuring, negotiation, and execution.
2. Manage due diligence, financial modeling, and valuation assessments to ensure transaction success.
3. Build and maintain relationships with private equity firms, investment banks, and corporate clients.
4. Drive business development efforts, identifying and securing new deal opportunities.
5. Oversee preparation of investment memos, pitch books, and other transaction-related materials.
6. Advise clients on market entry strategies, fundraising, and corporate finance solutions.
7. Collaborate with international teams to facilitate cross-border transactions.
8. Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a high-performance culture.

Must-Have Qualifications:

1. 7+ years of experience in M&A, investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance.
2. Strong track record of leading and closing transactions in Vietnam or Southeast Asia.
3. Background in a top-tier investment bank, private equity firm, consulting firm, or Big Four advisory.
4. Excellent financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
5. Proven business development and client relationship management capabilities.
6. Experience in cross-border transactions and ability to work with international stakeholders.
7. Entrepreneurial mindset with leadership potential.
8. Fluency in English required; Vietnamese proficiency preferred.
