Job Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse

Job Specialty: Medical Surgical - Neuro

Experience: 1 year of Medical Surgical Neuro experience required

Certifications: BLS

Must-Have: Rapid Response Team experience

Responsibilities:

• Work on a 45-bed Neuroscience Spine Unit, including an 8-bed Neuro Progressive Care Unit (Step-down Unit).
• Utilize Team nursing model: RN, LPN, and NA, with RN/NA model in the NPCU.
• Participate in every other weekend rotation and rotating holidays. On-call requirements will be determined based on unit needs.
• Flexibility to float within scope to meet facility needs, including surgical care, medical units, and inpatient rehab units.
• Engage in remote cardiac monitoring, ICP monitoring, ART line monitoring, cardiac monitoring in the NPCU, and continuous EEG monitoring.
• Required to use Rapid Response Teams.
• Orientation includes 14 hours of training.
• Required to complete fingerprinting and lab work within specified timeframes.

Additional Information:

• First-time travelers accepted.
• No locals accepted within a specified mileage of the facility.
• Finalized RTO must be included with submission, with restrictions during the first two weeks of the start date.
• Required vaccines: COVID-19 (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only).
• Flu vaccine status is unknown.
