Mechanical Design Engineer – Medical Devices

Perdigó Medical is an engineering consultancy based in Sant Just Desvern, Barcelona.

We work on medical products and technology to change people's lives.

We are looking for a mechanical design engineer who is highly motivated to contribute to projects alongside our Medical team!

Responsibilities:

1. Design, prototype and test components and subsystems
2. Generate 3D CAD models and detailed 2D drawings
3. Review CAD for injection moulding
4. Analyse and calculate tolerances
5. Work from concepts and functional prototypes for novel medical devices to production-ready designs and specifications
6. Communicate your work in a multidisciplinary environment where the status quo is challenged continuously

Requirements:

1. Mechanical, industrial or product design engineer
2. Background in mechanical and/or product design and development
3. Strong analytical skills; ability to use fundamental physics principles to assess and develop design ideas
4. Skilled in SolidWorks or/and Fusion 360
5. Responsible and result-oriented; professional and ambitious
6. Driven to change people's lives through medical products and technologies
7. Based or willing to be based in the Barcelona area
8. Good communication skills in English
