Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. New project development in the mechanical area.
2. DFEMA creation and maintenance during product development (Boundary and P diagrams, function relationship tree, etc.).
3. Materials evaluation and selection.
4. Mechanical components design using CREO or other required software.
5. Assembly and mechanism design (perform static and dynamic assembly assessments).
6. Stack Ups analysis and mechanisms simulations.
7. FEA analysis assessment.
8. Optical simulations development and assessment.
9. Components and assembly drawings creation and update.
10. DFM assessments for tooling strategy approval.
11. Rapid prototyping creation for quick product assessments.
12. Documentation readiness for engineering and mass production release (BoM, ECO's, CAF's, TDR's, Product Spec's, etc.) with knowledge of plastic components.

Skills Required:

1. Knowledge of GD&T.
2. Proficiency in 3D modeling software (CREO).
3. Experience with additive manufacturing.
4. Product validation expertise.
5. Tools: Boundary Diagram, P-Diagram, DFMEA (Automotive preferred).
6. Skill analysis of mechanisms (Stack Up, Static and Dynamic, digital assembly).
