Fabrication Area Responsibilities:
Daily cycle count Sheet Metal – STU, Outsourced and fabricated
Consumption Analysis and Action to improve accuracy
Sheet Metal Inventory Control
Material Delivery to Panel and Gluing
Material Delivery to Supermarket
Material Area Responsibilities:
Receiving outsourced Material and Deliver to Fabrication
Receiving Material from Suppliers and deliver to Fabrication
xKit material to assembly lines
Registration and Classification: Maintain an updated and detailed record of all materials, including information such as description, code, minimum and maximum quantity, and item category.
Reception and Verification: Inspect goods upon receipt, checking quantities and conditions, and correctly register them in the control system.
Organized Storage: Define appropriate storage spaces using methods such as FIFO, ensuring easy material location.
Movement Registration: Control all entries and exits using computerized systems or spreadsheets, ensuring each movement is recorded for future verification.
Periodic Inventories and Cycle Counts: Conduct regular inventories and cycle counts to compare system records with physical inventory and detect possible discrepancies.
Reorder Point Definition: Establish reorder points for each material so that a new order can be initiated before stock runs out, preventing shortages.
Indicator Monitoring: Supervise indicators such as inventory turnover, average retention time, and safety levels to identify improvement opportunities.
Team Training: Train inventory managers to follow processes and properly use control tools.
Maintenance and Continuous Improvement: Periodically review and update inventory control procedures, aiming to optimize processes and reduce operational errors.
Qualifications
Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. Requires at least 5 years related experience.
Good work record and experience. Ability to lead in a production environment. Requires tact and good judgement. Excellent communication skills.
