What do you get to do in this position?

1. Ensure to improve workplace Safety, Health, Environment and Ergonomics.
2. Ensure procedures and regulations are followed during assembly and material handling.
3. Bring awareness on workshop 5S standard, ensure maintained and improved.
4. Plan and monitor tooling & equipment requirements; ensure good working condition.
5. Bring a system-based approach to track workload, simplify the work, and standardize processes.
6. Improve performance of assembly and material handling operations.
7. Focus areas include people management, machine assembly, material storage, material issuance, standardization, and digitalizing processes.
8. Propose and implement workflow initiatives to improve the efficiency of assembly process and supply chain downstream.
9. Use structured problem-solving methods to address gaps in performance.
10. Responsible for training and development of technicians, contributing to multiskilling development and training matrix.
11. Define work scope for each operation/task.
12. Allocate resources based on project schedule and available resources.
13. Create and develop a pool of suppliers for workshop services.
14. Receive and interpret engineering packages for assembly.
15. Ensure equipment quality and proper operation in accordance with internal standards and technical specifications.
16. Communicate results, issues, and solutions internally and to customers.
17. Troubleshoot product and system issues related to equipment solutions.
18. Help establish technical strategies, internal procedures, and best practices.
19. Review inspection records to ensure accurate information is compiled for reporting.
20. Manage material and equipment flow from receiving to assembly process.
21. Control workshop inventory and drive maximum consumable readiness.
22. Measure and analyze warehousing performance and implement corrective actions.
23. Anticipate material supply risks in advance to ensure quick response in collaboration with purchasing department and project leaders.
24. Prepare & deliver weekly reports on workshop & warehouse activity and performance.

This job might be for you if:

Education: Automation / Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Industrial - Bachelor’s degree or related field.

Job Related Experience: 1-3 years of experience integrating machines for test and/or assembly automatic equipment for high volume production.

Business Understanding: Good understanding of manufacturing processes, machine building such as electrical testing, automatic assembly, palletizing, pick and place systems, vision inspection systems.

Others (e.g., language skills, technical skills): Knowledge of ECAD / MCAD modeling, people handling, supervisory, leadership skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities (both English and Spanish).
