The Quality Manager must be an excellent influencer, communicator and coordinator at all levels within the organization. Be collaborative, proactive, exhibit strong leadership qualities and be able to adapt to a dynamic and fast changing environment.

What do you get to do in this position?

  • Advocate to drive and implement the Global directives and policies
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships
  • Network continuously with CS&Q teams to ensure their entity's needs are understood and considered
  • Identify & capitalize on best practices in quality
  • Interact regularly with customers to better understand their expectations and concerns
  • Represent the voice of customer and drive the customer centricity within the entity
  • Influence the decision process of their entity to always take into account the voice of the customers (SPS, etc.)
  • Lead CS&Q related processes: Issue to Prevention, Process Robustness, and Corporate Quality Strategies (Phoenix 4.0)
  • Drive the relevant quality programs and methods (8D, Lean 6 sigma, SPS, etc.) to ensure continuous improvement

Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Electronic)
  • Fluent English.
  • Prior experience driving Quality and continuous improvement
  • Experience in people management.
  • Experience in SPS cards.
  • Demonstrates ability to manage improvement projects.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with data, problem resolution, project management
  • Ability to identify issues and risks, analyze and understand underlying causes, and devise appropriate action plans.
  • Excellent skills in leadership, communication both verbal and written, and attention to detail
  • Strong desire to work with people, on the manufacturing floor and with customer interface, excellent follow-up and execution skills
  • Quality Systems Experience and knowledge of ISO 9001 standard.
  • Green Belt certification.
  • Ability in applying state of art systems for Customer data Analytics (ex: tableau).
  • Demonstrates advanced decision-making skills under adverse conditions
  • Able to perform PFMEA, develop effective Process Control Plan (PCP), SPC, Lean Manufacturing and recognize Poka-Yoke/Jidoka opportunity in manufacturing/Logistics processes (physical & transactional).
  • Able to select the most appropriate method to be used for continuous improvement (8D / KAIZEN / DMAIC).
  • Able to perform and lead 8D (Containment, root cause analysis and improvement actions up to prevention). 8D certification is desirable.
