Manufacturing Engineer - Stamping Process (Temporal) (Level 7)

Job Description

Main responsibilities will include:

1. You will analyze and implement product or machinery design operational for the best method for manufacturing processes at Press Lines XL.
2. You will propose and evaluate the processes for equipment in Stamping area at Silao Plant.
3. Direct the design, development, and/or improvement of manufacturing processes for Stamping area at Silao Plant area. Also collaboration with the T1XX-2 Project Lead People.
4. You will keep regular contact with partners outside the work group; that means Quality operations, GCA, QE´s, Body Shop Paint Shop and General Assembly Process Eng.
5. You will provide direction & training to a small group of technical employees, either skilled trades or operations people.
6. You may evaluate or monitor expenditures for processes and/or equipment looking to perform all PCP applicable to stamping area and validate the effectiveness.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree: Industrial Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Mechatronic Engineer and all Engineering related.
2. Required experience in similar position: from 2 to 4 years in Stamping Process (preferred in Automotive Industry).
3. On Site: This position requires to work on site on a full-time basis.
4. English Level: Advanced.
5. Key Skills: People Leader, knowledge on quality systems, stamping process and automotive industry.
6. Temporary Position: 2 years.
