Honeywell recently announced plans to sell its Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) business to Protective Industrial Products, Inc. (PIP), a portfolio company of Odyssey Investment Partners. At this time, we anticipate that the deal will close in the first half of 2025, subject to customary closing conditions. The intent of this role, dedicated to the PPE business, will be part of this future transaction when it closes.

Be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to develop, implement and maintain methods and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. Using your technical expertise, you will estimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards, and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. You will add value and expertise to the business by sustaining support by identifying cost reduction and yield improvement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Prepare or suggest improvements in the process.
  2. Participate in the daily GEMBA walks and observe for risk behaviors.
  3. Coordinate interns in order to develop a plan and meet the goals for SOS (Standard Operation Sheets) and SCS (Standard Combination Sheets).
  4. Support new introduction and transfer projects.
  5. Work with suppliers to request quotes.
  6. Create fixtures and poka yokes for the manufacturing line.
  7. Determine production capacities.
  8. Maintain routings, bill of materials, process diagrams, time studies and product documentation to support ISO 9001 standards.
  9. Generate cost savings (material, labor, overhead) by leading and implementing productivity projects.
  10. Reduce downtime (increase uptime).
  11. Follow up/generate EWRs and ICMS.
  12. Propose KAIZEN events.
  13. Main contact for the site for NPI and transition projects.
  14. Create and establish procedures according to engineering processes.
  15. Knowledge in PFMEA, flow charts documentation.
  16. Responsible for PFMEA Go and See activities.
  17. Oriented to continuous improvement process.
  18. Evaluate quality control processes and make recommendations for improvements in quality control.
  19. Coordinate equipment maintenance improvement and repairs based on data analysis.
  20. Knowledge of equipment for purchase, installation and repair.
  21. Ability to work well under pressure.
  22. Knowledge in projects based on timing and milestones.
  23. Problem-solving skills.
  24. Good information technology skills.
  25. Commercial awareness.
  26. Excellent communication skills.

YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Advanced English level (written and spoken)
3+ years of experience in a related position
