Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for experienced and motivated technical managers in Mexico City to coach, grow, and partner with technically skilled, customer-facing Solutions Architects. You will help develop the industry’s best cloud-based solutions architects by enabling and coaching them on best practices, solution selling, presentation and speaking skills, as well as how to create and present architectures of widely varying size and complexity. In collaboration with the Inside Sales and Demand Generation Sales Teams, you will be assisting their efforts of qualifying and progressing for new business and acquiring a broad set of new customers in a diverse customer base. This role will be responsible for a team of Solutions Architects who will need to learn the breadth of the AWS platform quickly and each develop depth in one or more area. As their leader you must be passionate about developing these professionals and working to advance them into more senior and complex roles. This role focuses on targeted technical marketing campaigns, solution demos, virtual conference speaking engagements, and more.
Key job responsibilities include hiring, on-boarding, training, and developing new Solution Architects from internal and external sources, acting as a conduit and liaison between customers and service engineering teams, and building and coaching the team on skills needed for effective training sessions.
