How you will contribute to our magical experience?
The Manager, Park Sales, will be responsible for leading the distribution and sales strategy to drive business from Mexico, developing the market through a combination of in-country clients, Receptive Tour Operators, retail sales efforts, and market presence.
The Manager, Park Sales Will Be Responsible For
- Sales Strategy development, along with driving business results, to support Disney Parks (WDW, DLR) and DCL growth in Mexico (account responsibilities could change based on market needs), building plans accordingly.
- Forecast client’s results and determine the best support mix to drive the market.
- Apply a commercial mindset to the market, analyzing trends and identifying opportunities beyond the core clients (ex. dedicated offers, short/long term offerings, incentives).
- Provide timely and consistent communication to Sales and Marketing Director regarding:
- Client performance (past and future outlook).
- Market trends (current and future outlook of the market).
- Key sales initiatives.
- Proactively identify business or financial concerns with clients so they can be promptly addressed.
- Lead negotiations of co-operative marketing programs supporting Disney Parks (WDW, DLR) and DCL.
- Prospect new businesses (through existing or new clients) that will result in increased profitability for the company.
- Develop current and new key relationships with airlines, key organizations, consulates, industry experts, travel influencers, etc.
- Work closely, as one integrated team, with Client Solutions Managers and Trade Marketing Managers.
- Be a product expert for WDW, DLR, and DCL.
- Be an expert of the travel industry in Mexico.
- Engage Client Solutions Managers to solve for client’s operational needs, including technology, finance, ticketing, revenue management, etc.
- Engage Training Managers to provide sales training to clients and travel agents in-market and on-site.
- Develop and maintain internal relationships throughout the Disney organization, and identify synergy opportunities within the various departments.
- Ensure tactics are on strategy and within the scope designated by business unit.
What we need from you to be part of this story:
- At least 3+ years of experience in sales strategy.
- Advanced level of English.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Economics or Equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of Mexico and Latin American markets.
- Demonstrated business acumen and ability to integrate and connect information across multiple functional lines of businesses.
- Proven ability to build strategic plans and build strategic relationships.
- Proven ability to provide training through presentations to small, medium and large audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire, drive enthusiasm and teamwork with a commitment to excellence.
