Job Description

Plans and directs all aspects of engineering activities within an organization.

Ensures all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with the organization's established policies and objectives. Leads or coordinates project planning, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, people management, and troubleshooting for engineering projects. Ensures project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule, and cost.

Leads identifying, suggesting, and implementing best practices to facilitate best solutions and methods that will optimize processes in all areas of the business. Works with main clients and project and business leaders to identify the gap between current and desired results.

Oversees analysis of current processes and design improvements. Leads cross-functional teams to project completion and project implementation.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Requires at least 8 years of related experience.
• Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely.
• Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, understandable manner, and listen attentively to others.
• Ability to produce high-quality work consistently, in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Superior organization, time management, and project management skills.
• Ability to anticipate needs and adjust accordingly to ensure timely and budgetary commitments.
• Able to lead and direct the work of others.
• Typically reports to an executive or head of a unit/department.
