Maintenance Trainee

POSITION OBJECTIVE

• Optimize maintenance to improve the equipment availability, reduce downtime & repairs cost, through the implementation of a maintenance guidebook based on the maintenance best practices, failure analysis, predictive technology.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preventive activities review & improvement in coordination with manufacturer & internal / external stakeholders.
• Standardize Work orders with a clear form for technicians.
• Create spare parts models & link with PM tasks.
• Validate Spare parts catalog Criticality & availability.
• Upgrade PM routines with parameters data for Quality assurance (maintenance process & product).
• Identify Special tooling and new technologies to improve PM execution.
• Optimize PM frequencies according to real equipment needs through predictive, historical data.
• Identify specific training needs for the maintenance activities.
• Create work order models based on historical data.
• Documented work instructions for maintenance activities.
• Troubleshooting.

Education:

• Students in Mechanical Engineering.

Language:

• Fluent in Spanish written and verbal.
• English written and verbal (Min: 80%).
• Knowledge of French or German is an advantage.
