Maintenance Superintendent

Drive, supervise and ensure all assigned maintenance activities are executed with excellence and continuous improvement service based on a robust and strategic predictive and preventive maintenance plan.

• Ensure that operation runs in accordance with health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the personnel.
• Manage, coach and develop a high performing Maintenance team that meets agreed objectives.
• Responsible for the implementation and use of an ongoing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program.
• Responsible for the development of maintenance staff through training, response time and implementation of a value-added SAP PM, Plant Uptime / Equipment availability, as well as robust countermeasures on critical equipment downtime issues.
• Assure KPIs meet annual goals (MTTR/MTBF/%PM).
• Aid in the process of introduction of new machinery, plant and equipment from drawing up the specification in collaboration with Advance Manufacturing.
• Develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance schedule, ensure full preventative maintenance is carried out, plan in missed maintenance activities.
• Prepare the annual Maintenance budget and forecasts.
• Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice maintenance vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
• Manage the team on technical best practice by SWI implementation.
